Super Eagles coach, Austin Eguavoen has admitted that he is under pressure to wwin the Africa Cup of Nations.
The former Super Eagles defender admitted that Nigerians are expecting that the team should win the competition and that has put him under pressure with few days before the commencement of the tournament.
Eguavoen revealed this while speaking with a journalist in Garoua – where the team had their first training session.
“People are saying Yes they expect the Super Eagles to win the AFCON and that has put me under some pressure but I will take it…”

The team will begin their quest to win their 4th title when they take on former champions, Egypt in their first group match on Tuesday, 11th January 2022.
