Ideye Scores First Goal In Enyimba’s Win Over Black Bulls (video)

Brown Ideye scored his first goal for Enyimba as the Aba Elephants smashed Black Bullets to register their first win of the CAF Confederation Cup this season.

The former Super Eagles forward and AFCON 2013 winner scored the third goal on the night as they recorded a convincing win over the visitors.

Joseph Atule played Ideye through on goal and the 36-year-old beat the goalkeeper with ease before rolling the ball into an empty net.

The home side were ruthless in front of goal as they thrashed the Mozambican side 4-1 at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium on Sunday evening.

Joseph Atule had a very impressive match as he bagged a brace and an assist in Stanley Eguma’s first win as Enyimba’s new manager.

Ifeanyi Ihemekwele also got on the scoresheet to put Enyimba back ahead after the visitors equalized six minutes after Atule’s opener in the first half.

Enyimba remain bottom of the Group D with four points despite the win.

The Aba Elephants will hope to get maximum points against Al Masry and Zamalek as they look to qualify for the knockout stage.
