Iheanacho Linked To A Midlands Club Ahead Of Premier League Return

Super Eagles forward Kelechi Iheanacho is on the radar of Wolverhampton Wanderers ahead of the closure of the transfer window this Friday.

According to reports, the Midlands club have strong interest in the Nigerian forward and have offered a £20m to Leicester City to bring him to the Molineaux as soon as possible.

Iheanacho had a decent individual performance last season as Leicester City relegated to the English championship. The former Manchester City forward scored 8 goals and provided 5 assists for Leicester City as he was voted the club’s player of the season.

The 26 years old joined Leicester City in the summer of the 2017/2018 season for £25m. The striker struggled initially in the first few seasons at the club but later became a key member of former coach Brendan Rodgers’ FA Cup and Community Shield winning squad.

Wolves will look to wrap up the deal quickly as they look to bolster their attack thereby solving their goal scoring problem before the transfer window closes having scored just two goals in three matches.
