English Championship side, Leicester City are currently one of the most in-form club in the world at the moment and two Nigerians: Kelechi Iheanacho and Wilfred Ndidi have been pivotal to their brilliant start to the season.
Kelechi Iheanacho and Wilfred Ndidi both played a role in The Foxes 2 nil home win over Stoke City at the Kingpower Stadium on Saturday as they recorded their 11th win of the season.
Iheanacho, who scored in the club’s midweek win over Preston, scored the first of the day in the 2th minute.
The Super Eagles striker was in the right place at the right time as he buried the ball beyond the reach of the goalkeeper after Ricardo Pereira’s pass found him in space.
The home side sustained momentum for most part of the game and they doubled their pead with 10 minutes before regulation time.
Wilfred Ndidi’s pass found Jamie Vardy in space before the veteran striker scored his fourth goal of the season.
The goal against Stoke City is Iheanacho’s third consecutive goal for the club and his fourth league goal of the season.
Leicester City are top of the English Championship table with 30 points after 11 games.
