Former Southampton and Tottenham Hotspur manager, Mauricio Pochettino as hinted that he’s ready to return to coaching after 349 days since his last job.
The Argentine manager was sacked by Tottenham on the 19th of November last year after a very poor run of form which saw Spurs amass just 14 points after 12 games.
However, Pochettino said he’s now ready to return to coaching again, presumably in the Premier League where he led Tottenham to top four spots four times between 2015-2019.
The 48-year-old said this during the Monday Night Football show.
He added that he loves coaching and it does not stress for him to conduct training sessions, coach the team and compete for major honours.
Reports suggest that the Old Trafford hierarchy are already losing faith in Ole Gunnar Solksjaer as the manager of the team.
It was reported that the club’s officials met with Pochettino’s representatives last month to discuss a potential move to the Red side of Manchester.
