Instagram deletes Adamu Garba’s account few days after his app, Crowwe got removed from Google Play Store

Former Presidential candidate, Adamu Garba is currently having what can be termed as a “social media nightmare” after his Instagram account got deleted.

Recall that, his social media/financial app, Crowee got deleted by Google after it got more than a handful of negative reviews by some users. One of such reviews said the terms and conditions of the app was copied verbatim from another app called Spotify.

Adamu Garba who has not posted a tweet since the government placed a ban on the microblogging app took to his Facebook page to share his thoughts as regards the removal of his Instagram account;

 

“They have taken down by Instagram account too. This could happen to anyone for voicing out a contrary opinion. More reasons why we should work excellently on Crowwe”

Nigerians on Twitter are currently reacting to this development. See reactions below; Adamu Garba has always been a subject of criticism on Twitter and other social media platforms based on his seemingly controversial views on current affairs in the country. 

He expressed his delight on Tv after the government banned Twitter and he previously filed a £1bn case against the microblogging app for allegedly interfering with Nigeria’s politics during the #EndSARS protest in October 2020.
