Ivan Rakitic leaves Barcelona after 6 years, see his farewell message (video)
On Wednesday, September 2nd Ivan Rakitic had his exit press conference leaving Barcelona.
Barcelona announced that Ivan Rakitic is returning to Sevilla.
Rakitic joined Barcelona from Sevilla in 2014 after leading them to the Europa League.
In six years at Barcelona, Rakitic won the Champions League.
He added four La Liga titles, four Copa Del Rey trophies, two Spanish Super Cup titles, one Club World Cup and one Super Cup.
Rakitic took to his official social media accounts to post a message to Barcelona fans.
The message said, “I arrived at @FCBarcelona 6 years ago. Today, I am turning a wonderful page in my career. It has been an honor to wear this jersey. I would like to thank everyone without exception. My family, my teammates, the coaches, the staff, the club employees and the fans. See you soon.
