Super Eagles midfielder, Alex Iwobi has been named Everton’s Player of the Season.
Iwobi was given the award after an influential season for the Toffees as he racked up two goals and seven assists in 38 Premier League games.
He now holds the record for most assists (7) by a Nigerian in a Premier League season alongside Osaze Odemwinge.
His performances were critical for Everton as they strived to avoid relegation this season.
This is Iwobi’s first time of winning the aforementioned award.
Iwobi scored twice and recorded eight assists in 41 games across all competitions for the Toffees this season.
Everton finished 17th on the Premier League table with 36 points from 38 matches in the division.
