English Premier League club Southampton have completed the signing of Super Eagles midfielder, Joe Aribo from Scottish side, Glasgow Rangers.
The deal was made official via a tweet on the club’s Twitter page as well as an official statement on its website.
According to European transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, the deal is worth an initial £6m but it could rise to £10m in terms of add-ons.
Aribo said he is excited to join Southampton and that he has always looked forward to playing in the Premier League since he was a boy.

Joe Aribo joined Rangers from Charlton Athletic in 2019. The Super Eagles midfielder recorded 26 goals, provided 20 assists in 149 appearances for Rangers in three seasons.
The 6ft tall attacking midfielder was exceptional en route to Rangers’ UEFA Europa League run in the 2021/2022 season where he scored in the final against eventual winners Eintracht Frankfurt.
Aribo becomes the fifth signing of the season for Ralph Hasenhuttl’s side.
