Justice Christopher, former Super Eagles star, is dead

Ex-Nigeria midfielder, Justice Christopher, has passed on at the age of 40.

Christopher reportedly slumped at his hotel complex in Jos, the capital of Plateau State, on Tuesday and was rushed to the hospital, where doctors confirmed his death.

He was one the most efficient defensive midfielders Nigeria ever had. He spent his youth career at Amazing International FC, where he played from 1996–1998 before signing his first professional contract with Katsina United in 1999. He went on to play for Sharks Bendel Insurance, Royal Antwerp, Levski Sofia, 
Trelleborg, Alania Vladikavkaz, and Herflge before calling time on his career at Nasarawa United in 2012.

Christopher was capped eleven times by Nigeria from 2001–2002 and was a key member of the Super Eagles team thst participated at the 2002 World Cup co-hosted by Japan and Korea
