Juventus crowned Serie A champions for the 9th time in a row (photos/video)
Juventus were crowned Serie A champions after a 2-0 win against Sampdoria on Sunday, July 26th.
After losing to Udinese in midweek, a win for Juventus would seal the title.
Juventus went ahead in the 45th minute when Cristiano Ronaldo converted a ball through to him by Miralem Pjanic.
Federico Bernardeschi scored the second in the 67’th minute while Ronaldo missed a penalty 89th minute but Juventus held on for all three points.
Juventus are now champions of Italy for the ninth time in a row and can now rest players for the start of the Champions League.
