Rapper Kanye West announces he is running for the President of the United States of America
Popular Rapper Kanye West has made a shock announcement that he is running for the office of the President of the United States of America.
Kanye who is 43-years-old stated this on his official Twitter account which has 29.4 million followers.
The message he posted read, “We must now realize the promise of America by trusting God, unifying our vision and building our future. I am running for president of the United States.”
After posting the message, Kanye is now the number one trend on social media.
He received backing from Tesla chief executive and billionaire Elon Musk who tweeted, “You have my full support!”
His wife reality TV star Kim Kardashian West also backed him with an emoji of the American flag.
The general reaction is that this is a publicity stunt for his upcoming album while he may be too late to have filled an required paperwork fo the ballots which will take place on November 3rd, 2020.
