Klopp explains why Liverpool have not won in 8 games (video)
Liverpool suffered a 1-0 loss to Fulham at Anfield in a Premier League fixture played on Sunday, March 7th.
The only goal of the game was scored by Mario Lemina in the 45th minute as Fulham held on for a massive three points.
The result means Liverpool have failed to win in 8 consecutive league games at Anfield for the 1st time since 1955
It was their 6th straight League home defeat – never previously lost more than 4 in a row and have lost 8 of their last 12
premier league games – as many defeats as in their previous 121 League games.
Speaking after the game, manager Jurgen Klopp gave the reason for his side’s poor form.
He said, “A team like this should stay in the Premier League, but we don’t score goals and that is a problem”
“The longer it goes the more we got used to it”
“It will be a masterpiece to find out how to change that overnight”
“To win football games, I don’t have to stand here and say fight for this or that we have enough to do with fighting for 3 points”
“They have won it so they wanted it more, but that is not the problem”
