On June 17, 2010, the late great Kobe Bryant led the Los Angeles Lakers to the NBA Championship by beating archrivals Boston Celtics four games to three.
The Lakers won the first game 102 – 89 on home floor, but the Celtics tied the series 1-1 with a 103-94 win ahead of their home fixtures.
The Lakers won game 3 in Boston 91-84, the Celtics again tied the series with a 96-89 victory in game 4.
In-game 5 the Celtics took the lead with a 92-86 victory ahead of a doubleheader in Los Angeles.
The Lakers tied the series in game 6 with a 89-67 blowout to set up a mouth watery game 7.
The Lakers sealed the deal with a 83-79 victory to seal back to back NBA Championships.
