Lazio confirms Maurizio Sarri as new head coach!

Italian Serie A side, SSC Lazio have confirmed Maurizio Sarri as its new head coach following the departure of Simeone Inzaghi.

Sarri’s arrival at the club was confirmed via its official Twitter in a quite amusing fashion.

A photo collage of a bank, track suit and trouser, Lazio’s first team and a piece of cigarette were used in the announcement of the former Chelsea manager.

The club’s official statement reads;

“SS Lazio announces that Maurizio Sarri is the new coach of the first team”

Sarri led Juventus to their 36th Serie title before he was fired at the end of the 2019-2020
