A Nigerian soldier fighting Boko Haram insurgency in the Northeast has lamented the gruesome killings of peaceful #EndSARS protesters at the Lekki tollgate on Tuesday evening.
The soldier said he can’t be combating Boko Haram insurgency while the government is killing innocent citizens who are only fighting for their rights.
He also added that in as much as he’s a soldier currently serving the country, he can’t support bad acts of the government.
He said he’s in support of what the youths are doing i.e the peaceful #EndSARS protest.

Reports have it that no less than 15 people were shot dead by the soldiers while others suffered various degrees of gunshot injuries that fateful evening at the Lekki toll gate which has been the venue of the #EndSARS peaceful protest till the incident happened.
The Nigerian senate and other political figures have called on President Muhammadu Buhari to address the nation.
However, he’s yet to do so at the time of filing this report.
