Liverpool Vs Chelsea back in days use to be a titanic battle battle especially in the UEFA Champions League.

In one of those clashes in 2005, both sides led by Rafa Benitez and Jose Mourinho met in the semi finals of the UEFA Champions League in a two legged tie.

Having played a goalless draw at Stamford Bridge two weeks earlier, Chelsea just needed to avoid defeat at Anfield to Liverpool to book a place into the final.

Chelsea fans would definitely wish VAR had come earlier as Liverpool went on to win their faith European title in another dramatic tie against AC Milan at Instanbul.
