This signing of Ake for Manchester City is to upgrade on their defense which was responsible for losing their Premier League title to Liverpool.
Ake who is left-footed has big shoes to fill of former captain Vincent Kompany who left last season which is part of the reason Manchester City struggled this season.
Ake who is a product of the Chelsea academy joins Manchester City for a whopping 41 million pounds and signed a contract tying him to the Etihad Stadium for five years.
