Manchester United and Chelsea clinch Champions League spots as Bournemouth and Watford go down!

Manchester United and Chelsea had only one job going into the final day of the Premier League, get at least a draw and book your spots in the Champions League next season but the two heavyweights went a step further by securing maximum points.

The relegation battle went down the wire as Aston Villa survived the drop after picking up a vital point at London Stadium against Westham.

Watford lost to Arsenal at the Emirates while Bournemouth secured a 3-1 victory over Everton at the Goddison but it wasn’t enough as they and the Hornets have now joined Norwich City in the Championship.

It’s been a quite interesting season and surely fans can’t wait for the 12th of September when the new season will kick-off.
