There is news about the legendary footballer Diego Maradona.

Maradona passed away earlier this year after surgery.

In the early hours of Friday, June 4th  outside the Estadio Unico Madre de Ciudades stadium in Santiago del Estero (Argentina) a new five-meter statue of the late Diego Maradona was unveiled last night.

Ir was also before a World Cup qualifier between Argentina and Chile.

Argentina paid tribute to the late Diego Maradona with their shirt in the game against Chile.

Messi put Argentine in front through a penalty but Alexis Sanchez would score an equalizer for Chile as the game ended in a draw.
