Minister of Sports questions competency of Super Eagles boss Gernot Rohr

The Federal Minister of Sports Sunday Dare has given his thoughts after the Super Eagles of Nigeria played out a 0-0 draw against the Leone Stars of Sierra Leone in their matchday four Group L 2022 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier on Tuesday, November 17th.

Dare was not happy after Nigeria and Sierra Leone played out a 4-4 draw on Friday, November 13th.

He expected a better performance in the return leg but it was uninspiring.

Dare took to his official Twitter account to reveal that he has heard the criticism of Gernot Rohr Technical Adviser of the Super Eagles.

Dare said, “The performance of the Super Eagles from their last two matches calls to question the suitability and competences of Technical Adviser, Rohr. Nigerian football deserves better. The needful will be done. Apologies to all football lovers.”
