My favourite Nigerian Food – Super Eagles Coach, Gernot Rohr!

At the mention of Gernot Rohr, it’s only natural for Super Eagles players, invitees, local based players, contract issues among other things to be come to mind.

In fact, sometimes, some football fans forget that coaches and players have football outside of the technical area and on the pitch. Of course they do have a life outside of football and Gernot Rohr is not an exception.

In an interview monitored by Ekerete Kelvin of The Punch Mobile platform, the Super Eagles coach talked about the Super Eagles, players linked to the team, contract issues as well as his favourite Nigerian food.

According to him :

“I like vegetable soup; I like the real Nigerian chicken, not the industrial chicken but the local chicken. I like rice, I prefer natural foods. Though I eat Jollof rice sometimes, but I like white rice the most.  I hate fat. You could see me in the gym. I like to keep fit and watch my weight; I don’t want to grow fat. I also have where I train at home.
