Napoli Hinder Osimhen,Galatasaray Reunion With Sell-on Clause

Victor Osimhen’s reunion with Galatasaray is currently on hold with Napoli adding a twist to the deal.

According to football transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, Napoli are requesting a €20 million sell-on clause in Osimhen’s contact before sanctioning the move to Galatasaray.

Also, the reigning Serie A champions want a guaranteed €40 million transfer fee paid this summer with the balance paid in 2026.

However, Galatasaray have outrightly rejected Napoli’s proposals as they insist on paying the balance in 2027 with no sell-on clause.

Having agreed personal terms with Galatasaray, the payment structure of his €75 million release clause remains an obstacle.

With Napoli’s sell-on clause demand, Osimhen might be in for another prolonged summer transfer saga just like the previous window.

Victor Osimhen has reportedly been excluded from Antonio Conte’s pre-season squad as he prepares the squad ahead of the new football season.

The Super Eagles striker rejected a move to Al Hilal despite the Saudi Pro League side reaching an agreement with Napoli to pay his €75 million release clause.
