NFF President Amaju Pinnick visits Nigerian delegation at Watford (photos)
There is news about the President of the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF).
Pinnick visited the delegation of Nigerians at the newly-promoted Premier League side Watford Football Club.
The Nigerian delegation at Watford are Isaac Success, William Troost-Ekong, Emmanuel Dennis, and Dele Bashiru.
Pinnick gave details of his visit along with pictures on his official Instagram account.
The statement said, “I visited the TRAINING CENTER of Watford FC to witness the first official training of our Super Eagles midfielder, my fellow Warri Boy, Oghenekaro Etebo, our prolific and versatile mid field player. I had also had an interraction with the Club Technical Director, Mr Cristiano Giaretta. Emphasis was that we have potentially 5 Super Eagles players in Watford FC, but now only three regular players so the NFF needs to build a stronger relationship with Watford. He was truly excited in affirmation of our request. I am scheduled to meet with the Club President and CEO in the next few weeks. Will also meet with the CEO of Leicester, Everton et al in the coming weeks. By His Grace our World Cup qualification is not negotiable.”
