Victor Boniface, Lookman To Face-off In Europa League Final

Super Eagles duo of Victor Boniface and Ademola Lookman will face off in the final this season’s Europa League.

Both players have been quite instrumental to their team’s european run this season as they match-up in what should be an entertaining final.

Boniface has registered 5 goals and 1 assist in 8 matches while Lookman has provided 2 goals and 1 in 10 appearances as both players go head to head in the final.

Bayer Leverkusen continued their ubeaten run this season as they came from behind to draw level against Roma at home before booking their spot in the final.

The German side extended their unbeaten run to 49 matches – a new european record as they came back from a 2-goal deficit against Roma. The tie ended 2-2 but 4-2 on aggregate in favour of Bayer Leverkusen.

Atalanta on the other hand, had it easy against Marseille as they thrashed the French side 3 nil at home. The tie ended on 4-1 aggregate as they head to their first-ever european final.
