Nigeria-Born Canadian, Foluke Oyedeji-Laosebikan honored with Queen’s Counsel Designation in Canada.
Foluke Oyedeji-Laosebikan, LLB, LLM, Ph.D. received her Queen’s Counsel appointment. Queen’s Counsel is equivalent to Nigeria Senior Advocate of Nigeria SAN.
She is with FLK Law Firm in Melfort and also the President of the Law Society of Saskatchewan. She was admitted to the bar in 2011.
Volume Oyedeji-Laosebikan attended Moremi High School, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife.
While reacting to her appointment, She said she hopes to contribute to the development of society and also ensure that no one is denied, Justice.
“I hope to be able to contribute to moving the Law Society of Saskatchewan forward and continue to make sure everyone has access to justice this coming year as well as to always be innovative, listening, and adapting so that the work that we do is relevant and practical”
Individuals must live in Saskatchewan and must have practiced law for at least 10 years in the superior courts of any province or territory of Canada, the United Kingdom, or Ireland.
