Nigeria receives 296 evacuees from the United Kingdom! See pictures👇
Nigeria continues to receive her citizens stranded abroad as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic as 296 Nigerians arrived the country from the United Kingdom.
The evacuees arrived at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport from the Gatwick Airport, London on 15th August at about 7:35 pm via Air Peace Airline.
Officials of the Nigeria Diaspora Commission were on ground to receive the evacuees and the body said all the returnees will go the compulsory 14 days self-isolation protocol as directed by the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19.
The Nigeria Diaspora Commission also receives stranded Nigerians from the United Arab Emirates and Lebanon last week and this brings the total number of evacuees from the three countries to 621 within last week alone.
