Nigerian Air Force eliminates several armed bandits, destroy hideouts and logistics base in Zamfara State. Video 👇

Several armed bandits met their waterloo yesterday as the Air Component of Operation Hadarin Daji launched a massive air offensive in their hideouts in Kwiambana forest in Zamfara State yesterday.

The operation was carried out on based on both Human Intelligence Report as well as Intelligence Surveillance Reconnaissance which designated the location for the attack.

Consequently, the Air Force fighter jets as and helicopter gunship we’re deployed immediately to wipe out the criminal element as well as their hideouts in the forest.

This development was made known to the public by the Director of Defence Media Operations, Defence Headquarters, Major-General John Enenche.

The statement reads;

The Air Component of Operation HADARIN DAJI has eliminated several armed bandits and destroyed their logistics facilities in massive airstrikes conducted in the Kwiambana Forest area of Zamfara State. This was achieved yesterday, 15 September 2020, as part of air interdiction missions being executed under subsidiary Operation WUTAN DAJI 2 to rid the North West of the Country of armed bandits and other criminal elements.

The location was designated for attack after Human Intelligence (HUMINT) reports and confirmatory Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) missions, established that the cluster of huts and other structures at the edge of the Forest served as a hideout for notorious bandits’ leaders ‘Sani Mochoko’ and ‘Damina’ and some of their fighters. Accordingly, the Air Component scrambled Nigerian Air Force (NAF) jets and helicopter gunships to attack the location. The attack aircraft took turns in engaging the target area resulting in significant damage to the bandits’ structures as well as the killing of several of their fighters.
