Nigerian Army disbands legal team at Lagos judicial panel investigating Lekki Tollgate Shooting
The Nigerian Army has pulled out of investigative hearing and also disbanded its legal team at the Lagos State Judicial Panel.
The Army were part of the institutions investigating the shooting of #EndSARS protesters at Lekki Tollgate which happened on October 20, 2020.
S.N. Agwhe the army counsel notified the Panel of Akinlolu Kehinde, about the disbandment.
He said, “We do not have any further mandate to represent the army in any subsequent proceedings.”
The army can’t claim denial of fair hearing when the panel submits its findings to the government according to Doris Okuwobi panel chairman.
