Nigerian born Bukayo Saka earns 1st England call up

Nigerian born  Bukayo Saka has been called up to the England senior national team

Saka was called up on Thursday, October 1st to the Three Lions.

Saka who was born to Nigerian parents hinted that he could play for the Super Eagles of Nigeria but has opted to choose the country of his birth.

He took to his official Twitter account to reveal his happiness about the call up to the senior England squad.

He said, “Honoured and grateful to get my first @england call up ! #Blessings.”

Saka is part of the squad that will take on Wales on Thursday 8 October before the Nations League fixtures on Sunday 11 October against Belgium and Denmark on Wednesday 14 October.
