Nigerian-born Rinsola Babajide wins Liverpool Women’s Player of the Year award (video)
England born player of Nigerian descent Rinsola Babajide has emerged as the winner of Liverpool Women’s Player of the Year award for the 2019/20 football season.
Rinsola Babajide was announced as the winner of the award on Saturday, August 15th.
Rinsola Babajide scored eight goals in all competition for Liverpool’s women football team.
Rinsola Babajide was the top scorer for Liverpool’s women football team. and even scored four goals in an FA Cup clash against Blackburn Rovers Ladies in January.
Rinsola Babajide beat Melissa Lawley who was runner-up and Leighanne Robe who came in third to be voted Liverpool FC Women’s 2019-20 Player of the Season.
