Nigerian Chef Hilda Baci Breaks Guinness World Record for Cooking Marathon

Nigerian chef, Hilda Baci has broken the Guinness World Record for the longest cooking marathon in history.

She broke the record by cooking for 87 hours and 46 minutes at Amore Gardens in Lagos.

Baci started her attempt to break the record on Thursday and she is still carrying on despite going past the record.

Various Nigerian celebrities like Noble Igwe and Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo Olu graced the occasion.

The Guinness World Records subsequently unveiled a certificate with Hilda Baci’s picture which states

“Congrats! Hilda Baci has set a new Guinness World Record for the longest cooking marathon by an individual.”

The previous record was held by Indian chef Lata London who had a cooking marathon for 87 hours and 45 minutes in 2019.
