Itunu Babalola, the Nigerian lady who died in an Ivory Coast prison last month after she was reportedly jailed wrongfully has been buried in her hometown, Ibadan.
The body of the deceased arrived in Nigeria on Friday via the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos.
She was buried at Sango cemetery on Saturday.
The burial was witnesses top NIDCOM (Nigerians in Diaspora Commission) officials led by Abike Dabiri-Erewa, the chairperson.
Itunu Bablola’s death which happened on the 14th of November caused a lot of outrage on social media as users criticized and blamed NIDCOM as well as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for her death.
