Nigerians have taken to social media to express their displeasures at Nigerian Army’s warm gesture to Boko Haram members, their families, and followers who recently surrendered in the Bama Local Government Area of Borno State.
In a statement by the Nigerian Army, the bomb expert of the terror group, Musa Adamu, a.k.a Mala Musa Abuja, and assistant, Usman Adamu, a.k.a Abu Darda, some of their family members as well as their followers surrendered to the troops of Operation Hadarin Kai.
Pictures on social media saw the terrorists display cardboards with different inscriptions such as Nigerians, please forgive us”, “surrender and live”, “surrender and be free”
