Nigeria’s Ademola Lookman scores for Fulham in draw away at Sheffield United
Nigeria’s Ademola Lookman was on target for Fulham as they recorded a 1-1 away against Sheffield United in a Premier League encounter played on Sunday, October 18th.
Fulham were looking for their first win of the season but Sheffield United held them to a goalless draw at the halftime break.
Alexander Mitrovic had a chance to put Fulham in front in the 57th minute but missed a penalty kick.
Lookman would go on to put Fulham in front dribbling past several defenders to score in the 77th minute.
Sheffield United responded and were awarded a penalty kick which Billy Sharp converted in the 85th minute as both sides held on for a draw.
It was Lookman’s first goal since he returned to the Premier League on loan from RB Leipzig. Other Nigerians in action were Tosin Adarabioyo and Ola Aina who is on loan from Torino.
