Nigeria’s D’Tigers beat Rwanda 83-62  in Afrobasket qualifiers

Nigeria’s senior men’s basketball team D’Tigers beat Rwanda 83-62  in their second group game of the ongoing FIBA Afrobasket qualifiers played in Kigali on Saturday, November 28th.

D’Tigers beat South Sudan in their opener on Thursday and continued their impressive start against host country Rwanda.

D’Tigers took the first quarter 22-13 and the second 25-15.

Rwanda won the third quarter 24-19 but Nigeria won the fourth quarter 17-10 to close out the game comfortably.

Star performers for D’Tigers were captain Ike Diogu who had 18 points, Keith Omoerah with eight rebounds, and Ike Iroegbu with seven assists.
