Nigeria’s Paul Mukairu scores on debut for Anderlecht (video)
Young Nigerian prospect Paul Mukairu scored on his debut for Belgian giants Anderlecht.
Mukairu scored the only goal of the game as Anderlecht beat Royal Antwerp 1-0 in a Belgian First Division encounter played on Sunday, November 1st.
Mukairu who joined Anderlecht on loan from Turkey Super Lig side Antalyaspor started the game on the bench.
The first half ended goalless and Anderlecht boss Vincent Kompany decided to introduce Mukairu for Mustapha Bundu in the 63rd minute.
Mukairu would break the deadlock in the 76th minute as he converted a ball through to him by Albert Sambi Lokonga.
It was Mukairu’s first game for his side and after scoring the winner gave his thoughts on the win.
