Former Super Eagles striker Obafemi Martins has debunked a rumour making the rounds that he recently had a set of quadruplets.
There had been various reports of Martins welcoming quadruplets after a picture surfaced of the former Inter Milan goal poacher with an unidentified lady.
Martins took to Twitter to clear the air.
“Please note that there is fake news circulating that I have had quadruplets, these are rumours formed by someone looking for fame. This picture was taken during my foundation visit to the maternity hospital,” he wrote
Martins scored 18 goals in 42 games for the Super Eagles of Nigeria between 2004 and 2015 winning the 2006 AFCON Bronze medal.
He scored 28 times for Inter Milan between 2001 and 2006 winning the 2005/06 Serie A title.
