The Air Task Force of Operation Lafiya Dole continues to achieve more successes against ISWAP elements in the Northeast region of the country.
In a most recent development, scores of Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) fighters were neutralised in the Doron Naira area of Lake Chad on the 24th of November.
This was achieved through a series of airstrikes on the area of interest after a high-level Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance missions were carried out.
The Nigerian Airforce Fighter jets and helicopter gunships bombarded the area with multiple airstrikes which led to the death of several fighters.
