Osimhen Scores In Seventh Consecutive Serie A Game

Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen has scored in the seventh consecutive Serie A game in Napoli’s victory over Sassuolo.

The Partenopei defeated Sassuolo 2-0 on Friday February 17 at the Stadio Citta del Tricolore.

Khvicha Kvaratskhelia scored the first goal of the game in the 12th minute and Osimhen added the second 21 minutes later.

With the goal Osimhen has become the only player in Napoli’s history to score in seven consecutive League matches.

Osimhen tops the Serie A scorers charts with 18 goals and three assists in 19 matches.

Napoli continue their hunt for a third League title as they top the Serie A table with 62 points from 23 games.

Up next for Napoli is a Champions League fixture against Eintracht Frankfurt on Tuesday February 21 at the Deutsche Bank Park.
