
Super Eagles trio, Victor Osimhen, Samuel Chukwueze and Akor Adams all found the back of the net over the weekend.
Victor Osimhen scored his 50th goal in 59 appearances for Galatasaray as the defending champions secured a comfortable winning the road on Saturday evening.
The Super Eagles striker, off the back of a brilliant outing at the Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco scored the second goal in the 3-1 win over Karagumruk.
Osimhen brilliantly controlled a cross from Ilkay gundogan with his chest in between two defenders inside the box before smashing the ball into the roof of the net to give Galatasaray a 3-1 lead.
The win opened up a four-point lead over Fenerbahce at the top of the table momentarily with the latter set to take on Goztepe on Sunday.
Meanwhile, Osimhen currently has seven goals in 13 appearances this season, six goals behind behind Istanbul Basaksehir’s Eldor Shomurodov who leads the chart with 13 goals.

Samuel Chukwueze joined the list of Super Eagles players who marked their return from the Africa Cup of Nations with goals on Saturday evening.
The SuperEagles winger came off the bench to score the equaliser as Fulham came from a goal down to secure maximum points against Brighton and Hove Albion at Craven Cottage.
Swedish midfielder, Yasin Ayari had earlier given the vistors the lead in the 28th minute with a spwctuar strike into the top left corner of goal.
Bernd Leno pulled off a magnificent save to deny Kaoru Mitoma from doubling the lead moments later.
Samuel Chukwueze stepped onto the pitch early in the second half and bagged the equalizer in the 72nd minute with a low drive into the bottom-left corner from a Joachim Andersen’s cross from deep.
Bernd Leno was called into action once again as he stopped Danny Welbeck’s goal-bound header with another brilliant save.
Harry Wilson secured three points for the host with a sublime strike in the 92nd minute to give Fulham a 2-1 win.
Meanwhile, Samuel Chukwueze now has three goals and three assists in his six Premier League matches.

Akor Adams surely didn’t forget his scoring boot at the Africa Cup of Nations as the Super Eagles striker found the back of the net again on his return from the competition.
Adams continued his fine form in frost of goal as he scored the winner for Sevilla over Athletic Bilbao on Saturday evening.
Robert Navarro gave gave the visitors the lead five minutes before the break as he fired a rebound into the back of the net.
However, the lead lasted just a minutes Peque makes space for himself inside the box before powering the ball into the back of the net.
Sevilla completed the comeback less than 10 minutes into the start of the second half from.the penalty spot.
Akor Adams stepped up and buried the ball into the middle of goal sending Unai Simon the wrong way to give Sevilla a 2-1 lead.
Adams’s goal was just enough to help Sevilla secure their first win in six matches and first of the year.
Akor Adams now has three goals in three league matches since he returned from the Africa Cup of Nations where he scored two goals and provided two assists in seven matches.
Adams was instrumental as he helped the Super Eagles finish third in the competition behind host, Morocco and winners, Senegal.
