President of Napoli football club, Aurelio De Laurentiis has revealed that Super Eagles striker, Victor Osimhen will only be sold this summer on one condition.
Victor Osimhen according to sources in Italy has already agreed to a two-year contract extension which will see him remain with the current Serie A champions until 2028. However, the club are not ruling out selling him this summer.
While speaking with the media of recent, De Laurentiis said the club will be open to sell the 24-year-old striker if the right offers comes in;
“I have said for a while that Osimhen has to stay. But if an offer came in that I could not refuse for the good of Napoli, then we would consider it, as is only natural. We’ve an agreement in principle with Victor Osimhen to extend his contract for two more years, In case an exorbitant bid impossible to reject arrives, we will see and make the best decision for the club”.
Osimhen won the golden boot last season with 26 goals in 32 matches as he helped Napoli win the Scudetto for the first time in 33 years. He was also named the best striker in the league.
The Super Eagles striker who joined Napoli in the 2020-2021 season for €70 million is currently valued at €120m.
Manchester United, Chelsea and Bayern Munich are some of the clubs linked to the Super Eagles striker this summer.
