On August 8th, 1992 Spain beat Poland 3-2 to win the Gold medal at the Olympic Games in Barcelona.
The game between the two European giants took place at the Camp Nou home stadium of Barcelona.
It was Poland who struck first in the 44th minute through Wojciech Kowalczyk to take a lead at the halftime break.
Spain equalized in the 65th minute through Abelardo Fernández but Poland went back in front in the 76th minute through Ryszard Staniek.
In the 72nd minute, Kiko equalized again for Spain and he would go on to score the winner in the 90th minute as they won on home soil in front of 95,000 fans at the Camp Nou, Barcelona.
