On June 14th, 1995 Nigerian born Hakeem Olajuwon led the Houston Rockets to win the NBA Championship by beating the Orlando Magic.

It was the second straight final of Olajuwon and the Houston Rockets who were champions in 1994.

The final was between the Magic who were Eastern Conference champions and the Rockets who were western conference champions.

The final was a battle of two big men Olajuwon and Shaquille O’Neal, two dominant centers who were leaders of their teams.

The Rockets swept the Magic in four straight games to retain their title.

The Rockets won Game 1 in Orlando 120-118 in overtime.

They won Game 2 in Orlando more comfortably 117-106

In Houston, the Rockets won Game 3 106-103 and sealed the victory on home court in Game 4 with a 113-101 victory.
