OTD in 2011 Nigerian defender Olubayo Adefemi died in a car accident
There is news about former Nigerian defender Olubayo Adefemi.
On the 18th of April, 2011 Olubayo Adefemi on his way to finalizing his wedding plans when he tragically died in a car accident.
Olubayo Adefemi helped Nigeria’s Flying Eagles win silver at the 2005 FIFA U-20 World Cup in the Netherlands.
Also, Olubayo Adefemi was part of the Dream Team squad to the 2008 Olympics that won the silver medal.
In both cases 2005, 2008 they lost to a Lionel Messi-inspired Argentina squad.
