OTD in 2012, Lionel Messi scores 2 goals for Barcelona against Spartak Moscow (video)
On September 19th, 2012 Lionel Messi was the hero for Barcelona as they beat Spartak Moscow 3-2 in a Champions League group stage encounter.
Christiano Tello gave Barcelona an early lead but an own goal by Dani Alves and a strike by Romulo put Spartak back in front.
Messi would however come to the rescue for Barcelona with two late goals to claim all three points in front of 73,580 fans in attendance at the Camp Nou.
