Photostory: Al Kholood Unveils Super Eagles Captain William Troost-Ekong!

Saudi Pro League side Al Kholood has unveiled Super Eagles captain William Troost-Ekong as one of the latest players to join the club.

The 30-year-old defender joins the Saudi club from PAOK in the Greek Super League one year after his arrival.

Troost-Ekong’s arrival at the club was made known on the official X page of the club on Friday with pictures of him holding the club jersey and also signing his contract.

Troost-Ekong normadic football career will continue in Saudi Arabia after spending the last ten years across 9 different clubs in Europe.

The 30 year-old defender played for Groningen, Gent, Watford, Udinese, Salernitana before he joined PAOk in the Greek league past summer.

The 2023 Africa Cup of Nations MVP will look to add his wealth of experience to his new club as he joins them ahead of the new football season.

William Troost-Ekong joins the likes of Super Eagles players Odion Ighalo and Henry Onyekuru who also play in the Saudi Pro League.
