The man who gave him his first shot at football with the grassroots team Olusosun United FC, Paul Idowu Irikewe says he’s not surprised at the meteoric rise of the former Golden Eaglets star.
“Victor has always wanted to play football and score goals. That was his passion and he scored lots of goals for us at Olusosun United so I’m not surprised he’s doing it at a higher level,” Irikewe said in an exclusive interview.

Osimhen is the subject of intense transfer speculations with reports linking him to some of Europe’s biggest teams like AC Milan, Liverpool and Tottenham.
