Rachel spent a year in Black Theatre Workshop’s Artist Mentorship program before coming to NTS. She is now working on her piece Vierge as part of Factory Theatre’s Bedrock Creators’ Initiative. Vierge recently won first place in Infinitheatre’s annual playwriting competition, Write-on-Q.

Rachel’s recent theatre credits include playing Ismene in Antigone (Young People’s Theatre), Ama in School Girls: Or the African Mean Girls Play (Obsidian Theatre/Nightwood Theatre), and premiering the English language version of Christine Quintana’s Selfie (YPT), which earned Rachel and her castmates the Dora Mavor Moore award for outstanding performance.
