A copy of Lionel Messi’s Barcelona contract has been obtained by the Spanish newspaper El Mundo.

The contract signed four seasons ago shows Messi would have earned €555,237,619 by its end this June.

The leaked document shows that Messi signed the deal the biggest in sports history.

Lionel Messi’s contract is worth €555m… which includes an annual salary of €138m with a €78m loyalty bonus. It’s no wonder Barcelona are in such big debt and are on the verge of bankruptcy.
